Research Interests

My research aims to study new mechanisms and new treatments for acute lung injury. The following are a few of my current research interests:


1) To study VE-PTP-mediated regulation of adherens junctions: including VE-cadherin stabilization, internalization and recycling in acute lung injury.


2) To study new mechanisms of lung vascular hyper-permeability and edema resulting from left heart failure.


3) To study new mechanisms of acute lung injury by RiboTag procedure.
