Investigating the Epigenetic role of Sphingosine-1-phosphate in Lung Inflammation and Injury, using in vivo and in vitro lung injury models.
Understand the basis for vascular endothelial integrity and regulation barrier function; ongoing studies suggest that the sucess of the endothelium as a barrier depends on an enormous self-restorative capacity that is driven by a focal adhesion protein, paxillin, and reactive oxygen species.
